for Microsoft Office products.
Idea
The common theme for all the kalmstrom.com products is that they add a bit of functionality on top of Microsoft Office.

By knowing more about the Office platform than most and making intelligent choices about which technologies to use, and when
to use them, we can build solutions that are cheap, powerful and easy-to-use. We don’t build functionality from scratch if it is already available in the Office/Windows/Exchange/SharePoint platform that most of our users already have and like.
People
The
brain behind the applications is Peter Kalmström. Peter started developing his products ten years ago, when he was a consultant and could not find the products his customers needed on the market. His first applications were PF HelpDesk and
Calendar Browser, both developed for Swedish towns.
Then came one product after another,
and he started selling standard solutions of them as well.
Outlook Skype was a big success in 2004, and that lead
to his employment as Product Manager for
Skype
Toolbars in 2005.
If you have seen phone numbers on web pages turn
into clickable buttons ‒ then you have seen an
example of the kind of work that Peter is
responsible for at Skype. The integration of Skype
in Outlook is of course also Peter's creation.
Peter is still the head of kalmstrom.com and has the ultimate responsibility for the product development, but most of the daily work is performed by his parents Kate and Sigge
and by dedicated employees in India and Russia.
Skye chats help us create a
lively and efficient virtual office.
Future
The products of kalmstrom.com Business Solutions are
continuously improved, and this improvement is our
prime goal also for the future.
We wish to continue growing slowly and steadily like before.
The greatest challenge facing us, and others in the software industry today, is
to choose the right path among all the interesting and feature-rich technology offerings out there and
to build applications that take advantage of it all.

a knowledgeable
reseller. They have been on the web since 2000 and
have a wealth of information.
The owner, Tom Janocha,
helps us with German marketing and translation.
