display project timelines and much more! With the Mermaid
web part, you can embed diagrams and charts in modern as
well as classic SharePoint pages.
The Mermaid web part is selected
just like any other SharePoint web part, and the diagrams
are stored as text files in the site. No external service
database is needed.
Easy to link and update
Links can be added to the diagram boxes, and as Mermaid
is text-based, changing a step takes one line, not a new
screenshot or image. There is no need to move boxes to make
changes. Add or remove lines of text, and the layout is
automatically recalculated.
When a Mermaid diagram
is based on data that changes frequently, you can let a
flow or workflow update the embedded Mermaid graphic automatically.
Many templates
You can either type in Mermaid code from scratch in the
web part and create the graphic you wish or select one of
40+ templates to start with. The template code will be displayed,
so that you can change it to fit your needs, and the preview
shows the result as you type.
For modern SharePoint 2019/SE-Online and classic 2013-SE
The Mermaid web part comes as a SPFx file for modern
pages and a WSP file for classic pages. All editions are
included in the subscription
A modern SharePoint
page with the Mermaid web part can be added to a
Microsoft Teams channel tab.
Language
As the Mermaid web part is primarily an admin and
content creator tool, we have decided to offer an English
version first.
