web part, you can embed Mermaid diagrams and charts in
SharePoint pages.
The Mermaid web part is selected
just like any other SharePoint web part, and it can be used
in both modern and classic SharePoint pages.
You
can either type in Mermaid code from scratch in the web
part and create the graphic you wish or select a template
to start with. The template code will be displayed, so that
you can change it to fit your needs.
Mermaid is
a text-based open-source JavaScript-based tool for diagramming
and charting, first created by the Swedish software developer
Knut Sveidqvist. When a Mermaid diagram is based on data
that changes frequently, you can let a flow or workflow
update the embedded Mermaid graphic automatically.
SPFx Edition for SharePoint 2013-Online and Teams
The Mermaid web part SPFx file is installed as a
client-side web part, and it supports SharePoint Online
as well as SharePoint On-Premises. A modern SharePoint page
with the Mermaid web part can be added to a Microsoft Teams channel tab.
Language
As the Mermaid web part is primarily an admin and content
creator tool, we have decided to offer an English version
first.
