Modern pages are very easy to customize with various pre-defined web parts, but the possibilities to change the web parts are limited.

In this article Peter Kalmström, CEO and Systems Designer of kalmstrom.com Business Solutions, introduces the modern page and shows some customization possibilities.

Also refer to our article about how to create different kinds of site pages.

In the second demo Peter creates a modern page and makes it the homepage of the site collection. The default team site home page is a wiki page, but it can easily be replaced with a modern page.

The Quick Links web part

In the third demo, Peter shows how you can use the Quick Links web part. With this web part, you can link to documents and pages and have a preview of the source. You can also link to other websites, but that does not give a preview.
