Is it possible to use OLAP Reporting Tool in Folder HelpDesk V13 and later?

For study of how tickets have been handled Folder HelpDesk V13 and later has Excel reports instead of the earlier kalmstrom.com application OLAP Reporting Tool .

We however give current users of Folder HelpDesk a possibility to continue using OLAP Reporting Tool or to use both platforms. On request, the kalmstrom.com team provides subscribers with a tool that is placed in the Folder HelpDesk server folder together with the file OLAPReporting.exe. Then can generate the OLAP Reports by running the OLAPReporting.exe.

Note that OLAP Reporting Tool has some limitations: it only works on a 32-bit Office and it requires that Office Web Components for Office 2003 is installed on the computer.

In the long run we therefore recommend all organizations to start using the Excel reports instead. Excel is a widely used platform that has been much enhanced in the latest Office versions, and the Folder HelpDesk reports can use all Excel features.

The Folder HelpDesk Excel reports have sixtee default reports, but any custom reports can also be created. The kalmstrom.com team will be happy to help with that if needed.
