We have two different ways to change one of our
products after a customer's needs:

A customization means in short that we
assist
customers who buy the developer license to
customize the product after their needs. The
changes we make will only be applied on the copy
that the customer has bought, and we make no
promise regarding future upgrade possibilities.
The customer bears the full cost for the
customization, and he gets a unique product and the complete source code for it.
Sponsorship
org.lic.
standard product
possibility to upgrade
If a customer suggests a feature that we
consider would be useful for many organizations
and also fairly easy to learn and use, we
usually ask for a sponsorship. This means that
the sponsor pays a part of the cost for
developing the feature.
kalmstrom.com takes on
the responsibility to add the feature to the
standard product and keep it possible to
upgrade. The customer does not have to buy the
developer license, and as long as he stays a
support customer he can upgrade the product to
adapt to and take advantage of improvements in future versions of the product
and the underlying Microsoft
software.
