New
features for version 2 of SP Attach:
Attachment URL is now embedded in the
cursor position. This means, you can control
the positioning of the URL by simply clicking
the cursor to you desired location.
SP Attach now support multiple attachment
files (either through the attach button
or drag-drop). All the resulting multiple
URLs are embedded at the cursor position
with a line feed separating each URL.
SP Attach now retains the format type
of the email (HTML, RTF or plain text) as
well as the format (styles) of contents
such as bold, font family etc.
SP Attach now installs a second component
- the Outlook redemption library safeKalmstrom.dll
at the same directory as the SPAttachment.dll.
This is a helper library to safely access
certain Outlook components without Outlook
giving security warnings.
Some bugs have also been fixed:
Earlier when you started SP Attach for the first
time after installation and Office Web Component
were not installed, it prompted to download
the OWC from Microsoft.com. But at the same
time, this also lead to a premature trial end.
In the previous version of SP Attach it could
happen that an attachment URL partially wiped
out the content of the email.
