The developer edition of HelpDesk OSP comes with
  • the source codes of the HelpDesk OSP (VB6 and VB.NET).
  • the source code of OLAP Reporting Tool (VB6)
  • one year of the kalmstrom.com Developer Support, which in addition to the regular Support Services, enables you to get answers to specific questions about the source code via email. Refer to the support page.
To work with the developer edition, you would require the Visual Basic 6 development IDE that form part of Visual Studio 6 as well as Visual Studio 2008 with .NET 3.5 framework. Knowledge of Outlook Object Model is required extensively for making changes/adding new features.

You also need to know how to work with Outlook Redemption and Office Web Components.
