Welcome
to download
and try the full version of HelpDesk OSP
for 30 days without any
obligations. Then you must register the app if you
want to continue using it.
HelpDesk OSP can be used with
any Outlook folder, also
a public folder or a shared mailbox. Each
user must install the application.
Download the file HelpDeskOSPSetup
in .exe or .zip format.(Extract the .zip file.)
Close Outlook if it is open.
Click the .exe file to perform the
installation. HelpDesk OSP is installed
under Program files, and no choices have to be
made.
Open Outlook when the installation is finished.
Click the new Configure button to open the Settings dialog
Click on the "Add a list" button under
the first tab and log into a SharePoint
site.
(Go to the fourth tab and create
Example Data if you want to see how HelpDesk OSP
can look when it has been used for a while.)
(The first user/admin must
also decide what lists
should be used and configure how the
e-mail parts should be filled out in the
ticket, refer to the
manual. This user needs to have
Design or Full control permission over the SharePoint site.)
9. (If you want to use automatic conversion, choose Outlook folder to
monitor
and check the box Live Monitoring
under the second tab.)
10. When the configuration is finished the rest of the
HelpDesk OSP buttons inOutlook are shown,
and you are ready to start working!
For detailed info about installation and settings,
refer to the manual.
A functioning SharePoint site,
version 2 or higher.
HelpDesk OSP helps you get more out of
SharePoint
and Outlook, but the application does not
help you with the
general configuring of those programs.
.NET Framework 3.5. If you don't have it
installed you can
download it from Microsoft. If a client without .NET Framework 3.5 tries to open the Configure dialogue, a message
window gives this download link.
If you use HelpDesk OSP
with Office 2007 or 2010 you need to have the MS Office
Web Components installed to see the
Statistics . They may be downloaded
here.
When the 30 days evaluation period is expired, each user will have to insert the
registration key in the License dialog (button in the last tab in
Configure),
to continue using HelpDesk OSP.

OLAP Reporting Tool,
is integrated
in HelpDesk OSP and included in the download.
The language of HelpDesk
OSP is automatically set to the same as
of the operative system.
Currently Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Italian,
Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Swedish are
supported.
This icon in
an e-mail shows that
it has been converted into
a HelpDesk OSP ticket.
