Statistics button: I cannot see the statistics button in the Outlook TimeCard toolbar. Table of Contents (index) Problem Type: OLAP Reporting Tool/Statistics Problem Category: TimeCard
In TimeCard Single the Statistics button should always be shown. Please
contact us if you have the Single version and cannot see the statistics button!
In TimeCard Workgroup the Statistics button can be hidden for
various reasons:
- For users that report via ASP, the Statistics button is never shown. To view statistics, copy the database file back into the
TimeCard root file folder and
run the
TCCube.exe. This creates a .cub file so that you can run the
OLAP Reporting.exe.
- If you report to an SQL Server the statistics button is not
shown by default.
To view ALL statistics, go into the TimeCard root file folder and run first the
TCCube.exe and then the
OLAP Reporting.exe file.
For SQL, each user can also see his OWN statistics by checking the box "Create local .cub file" in the Personal settings dialog. If this box is checked, there is a Statistics button in the toolbar, but the user can only see the personal statistics, not statistics for all users.
- The statistics button is hidden in Common Settings. From the
Administrator manual, section 3.2.1.1: "If the admin selects cost-carrier by person and rate specified by the admin, a new option will be available that hides the statistics button to the users. If it is checked the choice is populated to the Personal Settings automatically, so that the users will not see the statistics button."
