The error message below can come when running the TimeCard Personal Settings if the user didn?t install the client tool directly from the workgroup shared network folder, or if the workgroup network share is moved, renamed or deleted.

The easiest fix for this error is to press ?Yes?, and then browse to the correct database folder and select the database.

You should select an .mdb file (TimeCard3.mdb) file in case the backend database is configured to be reported to Microsoft Access database.

For SQL Server you should instead choose a .txt file (TimeCardConnection.txt) for SQL Server. If the ?TimeCardConnection.txt? is specified, TimeCard Personal Settings tool will automatically create connection and get settings from the SQL server.

You can also manually configure reporting type in TimeCard Personal Setting. To configure manually, click ?More? and select reporting type and and give the path to it.

If you select ?Report to MS SQL Server? a button will be visible name ?Configure??.

When you click on the ?Configure?? button a pop-up window comes up. Here you can enter SQL server details, refer to the image below. After entering details you can test the connection. If it is successful, press ?OK? to save the setting.
