Move: How do I migrate the database and the server part of TimeCard to another location?

To move the TimeCard workgroup share to another server:

[Access database]
  1. Move ‒ cut and paste ‒ all the files (or just move the parent folder) to the new server.

  2. Each TimeCard client (user) needs to run the Personal Settings and change the reporting path to the new server eg. \\NewServer\TCWG.

  3. The user must also select the metadata choices again
[SQL server]
  1. Move ‒ cut and paste ‒ all the files (or just move the parent folder) to the new server.
  2. If the database is moved to another SQL server, edit the TimeCardConnection.txt.
  3. Each TimeCard client (user) needs to run the Personal Settings, and reconfigure the SQL server option to reflect the new SQL server database.
  4. The user must also need to select the metadata choices again.
