I saw that the program can record rate for each task. Do users have to enter information for this field?

In the Workgroup version the rates are set in the common settings by the administrator, and normally the users don't even see them.

In the Single User version the user sets the rates in the settings, but they don't show in the appointments and don't have to be filled out there.
