• I am testing the standalone version. Where is the data kept for that version?

Installation

• "Error 1327, invalid drive" message when attempting to run installation for kalmstrom.com products using the MSI installer.

• I have tested TimeCard with Access. Is it possible to try it with SQL too?

• Is it possible to move the appointment at 1/1 2050? It causes sync failures with my mobile calendar.

• Microsoft does not have Office 2007 Web Components. So what is a person supposed to do with Office 2007 when TimeCard is asking for them?

Meta data

• Can we add another meta table in TimeCard and have four fields rather than three?

• Can we extend more property fields to hold data such as Street No., Street Name, Suburb, Postcode, Contact Person and Sales History?

• I manage a consulting firm where the billable rate is not fixed by project but rather by employee. Can I assign a different rate to each employee? And further, can this employee rate be different for each client?

• We allocate time based on Customer and Project. When I set up these two fields in TimeCard I would like the Customer dropdown to drive the Project dropdown, so that only Projects relating to that Customer show up. Can this be done?

OLAP Reporting Tool/Statistics

• Analysis server request: When I press the Statistics button I am prompted to give the name of the MS Analysis Server I wish to connect to.

• comctl32.ocx: I get a message about a problem with the comctl32.ocx component

• Create Cube error

• Registering: When I open OLAP Reporting it says that the license has expired!

• See statistics: is there a way to control which users have access to the statistics feature, or if there is a way to only view the individual's own statistics? Currently, everyone has access to everyone's data and times.

• Statistics button: I cannot see the statistics button in the Outlook TimeCard toolbar.

Registration

• Manual registration: When I try to register with the license key I am prompted to make a manual activation. Could it be because I am doing it from behind a corporate network firewall?

• Why do you not use a method of license control which does not require an internet connection? What is wrong with a built in license server?

Reporting

• Change reported time: Once time is posted it cannot be changed ‒ is this correct? We do not want people to be able to change their time once they post it. We also want to try to eliminate paper time records and keep all of our time reporting secure electronically.

• Date format: When reporting time, some of our staff are seeing a screen that allows them to choose Start and End dates (which we prefer) and some are seeing a screen that allows them to choose a date and then Number of days prior.

• Double-bookings: What happens if an employee accidentally records two appointments for the same time slot ‒ how does TimeCard record that time, or does it indicate an error, or does it record the time twice for the same time period?

• Re-posting: Is it possible to report again, if an error has been made?

Server

• Server name: We want to change the server name. How do we do with TimeCard?

• What is included in the developer license, and what skills are needed to work with it?
