Manual registration: When I try to register with the license key I am prompted to make a manual activation. Could it be because I am doing it from behind a corporate network firewall?

Yes, it could. Most corporate networks include some kind of security infrastructure that is intended to block certain types of communications. Customers who connect to the Internet from behind a corporate firewall, or via a corporate proxy server, may have difficulty with product activation as a result of these security measures.

When you try to register with the key, the application checks if it can successfully communicate with eSellerate servers. If for some reason it does not succeed, you will be prompted with a manual activation dialog as discussed below. With the manual product activation, you can use a standard web browser to activate the product.

It involves the following steps:

Step 1. Choosing the appropriate activation option.

Step 2. Loading the web activation URL by clicking the link. Doing so automatically populate the installation ID to the web page (as seen on the next screenshot).

Step 3. Click Submit button (the text box should be prefilled with the installation ID).

Step 4. Retrieving the Activation key from the eSellerate server.

Step 5. Copy the Activation key to your windows clipboard. Alternatively you can email the key to your email for using it later for activation.

Step 6. Now come back to the product activation dialog wizard and click Next to enter the Activation key.

Step 7. Clicking Activate should display a success message. Click Done to finish the manual activation wizard.
