Buttons: there is no little icon in the Outlook toolbar which allows me to create a ticket from an e-mail.

The PF HelpDesk add-in might be disabled. You need to enable it and then restart Outlook.

In Outlook, go to Tools and check if the add-in 'Public Folder Helpdesk for Outlook Client Tools' is enabled or disabled. If it is disabled, enabled it.

Outlook 2000-2003: Tools > Options > Other > Advanced Options > COM Add-ins
Outlook 2007: Tools > Options > Trust Center > Add-ins


It is possible that the disabled add-in is not displayed under the COM Add-Ins dialog box. In that case it is listed under:

Outlook 2000-2003: About Microsoft Outlook dialog >Disabled items
Outlook 2007: Help >Disabled items

Select the entry for 'Public Folder Helpdesk for Outlook Client Tools' and enable it.
