Procedure:
1. Download the .exe or -zip file
(2. Extract the .zip file.)
3. Click the .exe file to perform the installation.
Follow the instructions on the screen.
Note: Windows Vista users need to right click the setup file and select "Run as administrator' Even if the administrator is logged on, by default the user has limited rights when running executables.
Installing the files could be successful with limited user rights, but the configuration in Outlook that would follow at the end of the wizard might not succeed.
Languages KBase supports 15 European languages,
and the language is automatically set to the same as
of the operative system. If that should be a language
not supported, English is used instead.
Example Data
If you want to familiarize yourself with KBase, you
can make use of the possibility to create example data.
This possibility is offered at the end of the installation,
and you will be offered the whole FAQ of this website. Downloading
example data requires a connection to internet. Evaluation period
KBase will function for 30 days. After that you have
to register KBase if you
want to continue using it. Press the button 'Publish to web pages' to reach i the 'License' button.
Download a .zip-file If you have problems downloading an .exe-file, you
can try this alternative, which downloads a .zip-file.
When you extract the .zip-file, you will get the .exe-file
from the download above, KBaseSetup.exe.

you use KBase with
Public Folder HelpDesk, KBase is registered automatically
through PF HelpDesk. Just give the path to
KBase under the Other Settings tab in the
PF HelpDesk Settings.
