Now you may describe your resources using any characters, as kalmstrom.com Business Solutions has released a new version of Calendar Browser that fully supports Unicode. Also the integrated statistics tool has full Unicode support.

With Calendar Browser it is as easy to book a resource within an organization as it is to make an appointment in the Outlook Calendar. The resources are described and booked inside Outlook, where each resource has its own calendar. Both public folders and mailboxes can be used.

As the kalmstrom.com products are sold all over the world, the full Unicode support is an important step in the development of Calendar Browser. The resource descriptions can be fetched via an URL, but they can also be made and stored in Calendar Browser. A simple WYSIWYG editor assists in creating HTML descriptions, and more advanced HTML can of course be pasted into it.

The Calendar Browser Overview shows a summary of the resource bookings and the supplies ordered. Users can choose between a number of different views. In version 6.1 the Overview loads much quicker than before even if you have many resources. Big organizations with many different kinds of resources may have several installations, one for each type of resource. The users know what kind of resource they need and can easily choose the correct folder in Outlook.

Long term usage of the resources can be studied with the integrated statistics tool OLAP Reporting Tool. With this tool, managers can create and generate reports and graphs that will give the information needed to constantly adapt and improve services.
