The
latest version of
Calendar Browser was released 9 January 2012, so the plans for the future are not so many yet.
The priorities are fluent,
but if you like a feature and wish to make it reality soon, you are
very welcome to
sponsor it.
Addition of the new Microsoft Service SQL Azure
as a third database choice after Access and SQL Server. SQL Azure it
is basically a SQL Server that Microsoft runs for you "in the
cloud". This alternative will be good for distributed teams.
Refer to this
blog post, even if it is about PF HelpDesk (the kalmstrom.com issue tracking tool for Outlook and Exchange).
We are also looking into the possibility of making data storage for our applications part of the
Premium Membership package. That way Premium Members would not have to think about additional costs for setting up an SQL Azure account for the company. It would be included in the kalmstrom.com Community subscription fee.
Quick booking of specified time intervals or other.
In this mockup we have time slots as an example, but the caption
"Period" will be possible to change.
If the feature is enabled, this dialog will be shown when you
press a new button in the Outlook banner. By selecting time slot
and resource calendar you can make a very quick booking.
