When I make a recurring reservation "prevent double bookings" does not function.

Unfortunately recurring meetings don't work well together with the "Prevent double bookings" feature, because of the way that Outlook handles recurring meetings.

Since this is a problem in Outlook there is very little we can do to fix that. I hope this will not cause too much trouble now when you know that the problem exists.

This is how it might be:

“Prevent double-bookings” is checked.

Scenario:
I make a reservation for Monday, June 30th from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m.

I then make a recurring reservation for every Monday, beginning June 23rd from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. for the next five weeks, and get no error message.

When I look at June 30th, it is double-booked.
