Image path: is it possible to use relative paths to images in resource descriptions?

No, it is not possible, as the description of each resource (calendar) is saved in a public folder or mailbox (depending on the installation type).

When you click the  icon above a particular calendar in the homepage, the corresponding resource description is extracted to a temporary folder as a file and then shown. So this limitation is by design and hence, you need to use an absolute path.
