Outlook 2007: we have installed Office 2007 and now the Statistics tool does not work. Is there anything I can do?

Yes, there is! We are of course working on updates for all our applications, but until they are released there is a simple way of solving the problem: install Office Web Components, a component which is available on both Office 2002 (XP) and Office 2003 installations discs.´

The latest web component may also be downloaded from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=7287252C-402E-4F72-97A5-E0FD290D4B76

The version for 2003 works equally well for Office 2007, but for some reason Microsoft has opted to not include it in that Office version.

OWC is used in OLAP Reporting Tool and the Calendar Browser Create Example Data tool. If you want to use one of these you need to install the components.

The other parts of Calendar Browser work without OWC, so no installation of OWC is necessary to just use Calendar Browser for booking resources.
