But even if the use of SharePoint views gives many advantages,
Peter shows an issue in the demo below: only three views
are displayed in the classic interface, and to see the rest
you have to open the ellipsis. in the modern interface all
views but the default are hidden in a dropdown. In the next
article we will show how this problem can be solved with
a landing page.
Peter already has three views in his SharePoint library,
the default view and two created in the
Views Introduction and
Grouped View articles. When
he creates a fourth view, where the files are filtered so
that only invoices from 2011 are displayed, he faces the
issue that only three views are shown in the list on top
of the data. To reach the fourth view, he has to open the
ellipsis.
