Business Solutions, has showed different options to add a picture to a SharePoint
page using the Picture button in the SharePoint ribbon.
In the demo below Peter shows a fourth way to add a picture. This time he
uses the Image Viewer Web Part. Nowadays it is not commonly used, but in SharePoint
versions before 2010 it was the only way to add a picture to a SharePoint
These are the steps to add a picture to the Image Viewer web part in a SharePoint
Click on ‘Edit’ on the top right of the page. The page will open in Edit
Place the mouse cursor where you want to add a picture.
Open the INSERT tab and click on ‘Web Part’.
Under ‘Media and Content’, select ‘Image Viewer’.
Click on ‘Add’ and go to the web part tool pin.
Expand the web part tool pin accordion and click on ‘Edit Web Part’.
Type or paste the image URL in the ‘Image Link’ field.
Do the necessary settings.
Click OK, and then save the changes to the page by clicking on the ‘Save’
