Why do you use Visual Basic 6 in your program? Is is not rather old?

Yes, you are right. VB 6.0 is quite old.  We could have used Visual studio 7 or above, but that development environment is only targeted to Outlook 2003 and above. We have decided to stick to VB 6 to make our products work on Outlook 2002 and 2000 too. Quite a few of our customers still use those versions.
