Subscription level: We have a total of 15 team members in 4 different locations. What type of subscription would you recommend? The kalmstrom.com products have three subscription levels, Minimum, Medium and Premium. All three levels will give you, support and free upgrades.
All levels will also give you the right to use Kanban Task Manager for SharePoint for your 15 team members in 4 locations – and to expand the use also, if it becomes necessary. We always give free use of Kanban Task Manager for SharePoint within the subscribing organization.
As you have only 15 users, I suppose the Premium subscription level will mean a too big investment for you even though it gives many benefits. Therefore we will explain about the Minimum and Medium levels. The difference between the levels is what is included in addition to Kanban Task Manager for SharePoint.
If you are interested in the Premium level please refer to http://www.kalmstrom.com/Community/PremiumMember.htm
The Minimum level will give free use of Kanban Task Manager for SharePoint within your organization + support and free upgrades. That way users always have good functioning software that is updated to support the latest technologies.
The Medium level will give you the same as the Minimum level (free use of Kanban Task Manager for SharePoint + support and free upgrades), and also licenses to additional kalmstrom.com Solutions for Outlook and SharePoint. We encourage use of several kalmstrom.com products within our subscriber organizations, so the fee for the Medium level is very advantageous even if you only want to include one of the allowed four additional products.
With a Medium subscription you may choose a maximum of two Gold Solutions and two Silver Solutions, refer to the kalmstrom.com Products page.
Here are some suggestions on kalmstrom.com Solutions that work well in combination with the SharePoint version of Kanban Task Manager, but feel free to select the products that suit your organization best.
Gold SolutionsThe Outlook version of Kanban Task Manager works like the SharePoint version but in Outlook, with Outlook tasks. The two versions synchronize, so you can use both together, on the same data.
HelpDesk OSP is an Outlook add-in that creates SharePoint list items, either by converting e-mails or by creation of new items from Outlook. Use it with the Kanban Task Manager tasks list, and the converted e-mails or Outlook created tasks will show up on a SharePoint kanban board. Use it for issue tracking and user support with a separate installation of Kanban Task Manager! Blog post
Silver SolutionsShareTask gives a user friendly interface when you work with tasks in smart phones and tablets.
SP Archive is a solution for customized archiving of SharePoint list items. Archive exactly the items and fields you want to save. SharePoint lists have a limit, and by archiving the items to a database, you get them stored in a better way than keeping them in SharePoint.
SP Attach changes the default behavior of the Outlook "Attach File" command, so that the attachment will not be added to the e-mail but published to a SharePoint document library. If you don’t want to publish all files to SharePoint, there is a possibility to choose for each attachment if you want it published to SharePoint or attached to the e-mail.
We recommend the Medium subscription. It will give you three additional kalmstrom.com Solutions for a fee that is just a little bit higher than the Minimum level. Even if you only want to use one of them, the Medium fee is favorable!
