We often and happily do customizations for customers who buy our products. Often - but not always – it is necessary for them to buy the developer license of the product. Above that cost comes our rate.

We require at least half the payment for the customization in advance. The other half is paid when the customer has received, tested and approved of the product.

Please realize though that custom solutions have a few disadvantages:
  • You will need to perform your own functionality validation in a timely manner to make sure you get what you paid for.

  • We can not guarantee that your customized version will work with upgrades or future versions of the Microsoft products we build on. You might have to pay for extra customization work when you  eventually upgrade.
Note that we sometimes include a feature in the standard product that from the beginning was a customization for a special customer. In that case this problem does not occur, and a purchase of the developer license is never necessary. We usually call that kind of a customization for a sponsorship.
